#Travelpost: 2nd day of Family trip at DUTY FREE LANGKAWI

It's our 2nd day here at Langkawi and it's ISLAND HOPPING DAY!

We started off by meeting the tour agents at Anytime Holidays HQ. We were then being transported to the Jeti for our boat ride.

First stop - Pulau Beras Basah

Pulau Beras Basah is located 25 Kilometers southwest of Kuah, Langkawi which is approximately 30 minutes boat ride from the jeti. It features its soft sandy beaches, swaying coconut trees and crystal clear sea water - Just how a paradise would be :)

Also, note that there are a many monkeys around the beach area. So BEWARE of your belongings at all times during your time here! Also, try to hide any food and drinks that you brought along with in bag and avoid holding it in your hands.

Here's the activity center where there's Banana boats, snorkeling and many other water activities. You can check it out at this counter right here when you drop by.

After spending about an hour or 2 here at the beach, next stop would be "Eagle Feeding". I personally love this a lot as it's my first time witnessing how the Eagles will just be flying in circles waiting for they prey or food to arrive. What happens is that, either one of the boat who arrives will carry with them some food to feed the eagles. Upon arrival, the meat pieces will be thrown and feed to the eagles. I would definitely come back for this!

Here's a short clip of it,

Next and final stop would be the "Dayang Bunting" Island where it's said to have a beautiful natural lake here where you'll be able to enjoy the scenery while kayaking.

Here's the entrance fees upon entering this place:

Adult: RM6 per entry
Children: RM3 per entry

Preparing for our kayaking around the lake here at Dayang Bunting.

Much later after that, we took the boat ride back and went home for a quick shower before heading out for the sunset at Pantai Cenang. After the magnificent sunset, we drove around and were searching for a seafood dinner place. Stumbled upon this Seafood Restaurant - Wonderland whos is also highly recommended on Google, we decided to try it out as there were some really great reviews online too!

Look at the crowd at Wonderland tonight! I'm not sure if they are Halal Certified but they certainly are pork free!

Started off with this Ginger Onion Clam dish which has a little bit of spicyness but the clams are undeniably fresh!

Steamed fish

Next is my favourite Salted Egg Cray Fish!!!!!! THIS IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Of course, if you prefer other types of cooking that will enhance the freshness of the seafood, you can too! :)

Sambal "Sotong"

To be honest, I was a little skeptical about this dish when it arrives but it proves me wrong from the very first bite! The spicy-ness of this dish is not overpowering the taste as a whole and the freshness of the "sotong" made it even better!

Some green vegetables

Fried oyster with omelette

In a nutshell, Wonderland offers a wide range of seafood with many different types of cooking styles which I would say it's pretty good for it's price. Having to say that, the price here at Wonderland is not too expensive as well as Seafood here are cheaper compared to back in KL where seafood are much much more expensive. Really worth the money! Definitely be back here for the Salted Egg Cray Fish and Sambal "Sotong" when I'm back next time!
